Avantone Kick Sub-Frequency Bass Drum Microphone

Description

The Avantone Pro Kick sub-frequency microphone is designed to pick up the deepest low-end sound from the bass drum. This old-school microphone uses Avantone Pro´s reproduction of the famous “white cone” low-frequency driver. The Kick mic brings the "boom" from the bass drum out to the forefront, making large-sounding sources sound massive. The low-frequency driver in the Kick microphone is the AV10-MLF. The cone is formed with a single continuous press to match that classic sound. This allows a much higher level of quality control and consistency during the manufacturing process.

Because the Kick sub-frequency mic uses a real birch shell and mesh drum head material, Avantone Pro included a heavy-duty metal drum stand to mount the mic properly on stage or in the studio.
