The MR500E MR Series dreadnought represents Cort’s mission to provide the highest-quality traditional instruments with superb workmanship and modern features at an unbeatable value. The MR500E dreadnought features a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides and an ovangkol fingerboard for resonance and feel. The classic dreadnought body has a Venetian cutaway for easy high-fret access and is equipped with Cort CE304T electronics to deliver the MR’s natural acoustic sound to an amplification system for live and recording applications. A 3-band EQ is also included for tonal flexibility and a built-in LED tuner for convenience. This high-value EQ system delivers a rich midrange with clear transparent highs.
